The Cleveland Cavaliers are a professional basketball team based in Cleveland, Ohio. They were founded in 1970 as an expansion team and have since become one of the most successful franchises in NBA history. Over the years, they have had many talented players on their roster, including LeBron James, Kyrie Irving, Kevin Love, Brad Daugherty, and Mark Price.
The Cavs made their first playoff appearance during the 1975-76 season, but it wasn't until the late 80s that they became serious contenders for championships. Led by All-Star guard Mark Price and center Brad Daugherty, they reached the Eastern Conference Finals three times between 1989 and 1992 but failed to win a championship.
In recent years, however, things changed dramatically when hometown hero LeBron James returned to lead them to four consecutive NBA finals appearances from 2015-2018. They won their first-ever title against the Golden State Warriors after coming back from being down three games to one.
Today's Cavs squad is young with promising talent such as Collin Sexton and Darius Garland, who will look forward to leading this franchise into another era of success.
